Ah, the fourth wall is a metaphorical wall separating a fictional character from the audience. If a fictional character is aware that they are fictional, but does not generally acknowledge it, they could be said to have a thin fourth wall.

As for my fourth wall, either I don't have one because I'm real, or it's very thick because I don't know I'm fictional at all. Unfortunately there's no way for me to tell the difference.
